- My greatest invention yet, this little beauty has a
- number of functions. It sits on the iconbar, a tiny
- animated hand swinging round. The hand's speed gives
- some idea of the free processor time, eg when a
- ray tracer is doing its stuff.
-
- The application's icon accepts input from the three
- mouse buttons.
-
- MENU button ⇨
-
- Allows you to quit (unlikely) or view the
- astonishing INFO box.
-
- SELECT button ⇨
-
- The time window.
-
- (a) ⇨ The time of day, eg Breakfast.
- (b) ⇨ The time in 24 hour clock style English, eg
- 23 hundred hours and 10 minutes.
- (c) ⇨ The rough time in English,eg quarter to twelve.
-
- ADJUST button ⇨
-
- The date window.
-
- (a) ⇨ The title bar of this error box contains this
- date's starsign.
- (b) ⇨ The date in English. This will also comment if
- the year seems wildly innacurate.
- (c) ⇨ Some interesting or boring facts about this
- date in history, eg the Romans invaded.
- (d) ⇨ The number of days until Christmas if in
- December.
-
-
- Brilliant or what? Brought to you with a lot of
- hard work by the RAJ,
- Robin Jubber,
- 36 Burgate,
- Canterbury,
- Kent.

-
- Research and testing ⇨ I found many of the facts
- from books such as the Oxford book of dates, a very
- good concise guide to history. The software has been
- tested on an A3010 with RO3 in all screen modes.
- I am sure it will work under RO2. If it contains
- some horrendous bugs, please contact me.
-
- Further improvements ⇨
- I may enhance the iconbar animation for multi
- sync owners. There is already a !sprites22 file
- which displays a hi-res mode 28 icon for the filer
- window.
- I may also change the time and date boxes into
- proper windows instead of making calls to the error
- handler.
